I’m getting fat ….. That word is always repeated and buzzing in my ear, maaaan, i how come now i weigh over 65 kilos? There’s nothing i eat too much except noodle and rice, d’oh!
So, i start to search about how to turn my weigh down and keep it lower so i can keep looking sexy and attracting some girls, wk. After few hours to search what suitable sports for me, i got one, running, because what? it’s fun, efficient and effective to lower your weigh, potentially to meet some cute girl on a running track, and the most important thing …. it’s cheap, you just have to move your feet alternately.
So, i start to make my 1st run, it’s fun at the beginning, but then i realize, nowadays, running is become a new lifestyle, people start to show off their track, equipment, and running pardner of course, i wonder, how i can share all of that into my social media? i found the answer after i tried to google it, use nike+ running app.
Welcome to my nike+ app (wtf, how come you had 300+ km with that?)
Nike+ Running tracks your running activity using a GPS. The GPS system makes the Nike+ Running app very useful for any runner who prefers the outdoors to the treadmill. The Nike+ has helpful motivation on it, such as music and cheering and you can also add friends so you need never run alone. (or you can show off with them, what expensive shoes that you wear :p), If you’re a busy guy, Nike+ gives you the option of pausing your run whilst you take a phone call so you need never run and talk again.
I’m the green heart guy, save the trees!
The app is easy to set up and all you have to do to start your Nike+ Running journey is enter your basic information and hit begin. The Nike app counts down for you to make sure you’re ready for your run in time.
The Nike+ Running app also gives runners the option of holding your phone in your hand or attaching it to your arm. Most runners will agree that an armband is probably the better option as you do not want to drop your phone when your hands get sweaty. ( i prefer to put my phone at my pocket ).
Once you’ve completed your run, the app shows you information which includes: the time, miles run, number of runs completes, calories burnt and your average pace. It’s basically all the information you see on the fancy treadmills at the gym, only at a fraction of the cost. The app also uses graphs to log your progress. Or, if you wanna be serious runner, you can set up a training program, so Nike+ running app can manage what actvity that you have to take day by day.
Another thing I like about Nike+ is that you can calibrate your run to tweak the app’s accuracy. If you know the distance of your usual route, you can enter in the actual distance and it will automatically adjust your other workout data, including minutes per mile. That’s a nice feature to have if you live in an area where GPS reception can be finicky. Overall, I found the GPS highly accurate, but it really does depend on where you live. Large trees or buildings can easily obscure the signal and skew your data.
Voice alerts are another feature included in the Nike+ GPS app, and I like that they can be customized in different ways. You can determine whether or not you want the alerts at a set distance or time, and you can also choose between a male or female voice. I prefer the female, the male voice sounds creepy.
Another thing that i liked, i can run with my friends, got cheered up and compete against them, or gave them some challenge to run over, and constantly share my activity into my path or twitter, some ask about what path did i took, some other ask about do i felt tired aftermath, some glamour girls talked about my brand new white nike air retaliate shoes, new way to show off, eh
Equipped with a fabulous GPS-based run tracker and social tools for sharing, motivating and competing, Nike+ Running for iPhone is sure to impress both casual and serious runners. The app leverages social media, making an individual challenge seem like a social event. It also capitalizes on the strengths of the iPhone by pulling in features like song playlists. Clearly, Nike knows running — and technology, too
